November 9
"Big Buffalo Round-Up & Charity Auction"
In the Casino Ballroom on Catalina Island. Tickets are now on sale for the Big Buffalo Round-Up & Charity Auction!
Visitors and residents have enjoyed the Buffalo in Paradise public art display since it opened, but on November 9th all 25 of the buffalo will be auctioned off at the Charity Auction.
Evening includes a BBQ buffet, country-style entertainment and dancing, and a chance to bid on the Buffalo in Paradise buffalo, along with many other great items. All money raised will be donated to the Catalina Island charity of the winning bidder's choice.
The Catalina Island Chamber of Commerce decided that with so many worthy organizations on Catalina Island, they would let the bidders choose which organization they'd like their donation to benefit. That way people who purchase the buffalo walk away feeling like the money they spent is going towards something they personally believe in and can feel good about supporting.
Tickets to the event are $60, which includes dinner and entertainment. A full bar will also be available. Visit the website and see photos of all 25 of the buffalo and vote on your favorite!
